storage: pve-main: system raid1+0 array isn't reliable
See #6 and #9 for perfect examples of the consequences.
Drives 2I:1:5
and 2I:1:9
are often reported as failed without any apparent reason.
Steps to take:
-
Run a deep scan of, if not each drive of the array, drives 5 and 9; - If they are OK: this means the p410 controller is messing with them
- Replace those 6 drives by a 2x NVMe RAID1 array, with its own PCIe expansion card?
--> means removing additional NIC, thus loosing 2x 1GBe ports
- Replace those 6 drives by a 2x NVMe RAID1 array, with its own PCIe expansion card?
- Else:
- Replace the drives?
- Connect the 6 drives directly to the motherboard?
- Create a RAID1 array with directly connected drives, transfer data on them and remove the 6 current drives from the server?
